A sociology major and writing minor at Texas State University, graduating in Summer 2025. As an advocate for victims of sexual violence, Lea has testified at the Texas Capitol in support of HB1465 and worked alongside her state senator to introduce SB 2789 in the 89th legislative session. Both bills aim to expand the definition of sexual offenses and increase community safety measures.

Utilizing R studio software, I conducted descriptive statistical analyses on the research data, identifying significant findings that were subsequently documented." Her research focuses on regenerative agriculture methods, integrated pest management, and vermifiltration. She works for the Fermented Landscapes Lab and is passionate about science education and community engagement.

Risk Factors Associated with Beach Drowning and Tourist Death Susceptibilities in Bangladesh
Juel’s thesis examines the risk factors contributing to beach drownings in Bangladesh and maps tourist vulnerabilities based on fatality data. The study aims to inform policy, reduce drowning risks, and promote sustainable beach tourism. His findings at the 50th Annual NHRA Workshop.
