A sociology major and writing minor at Texas State University, graduating in Summer 2025. As an advocate for victims of sexual violence, Lea has testified at the Texas Capitol in support of HB1465 and worked alongside her state senator to introduce SB 2789 in the 89th legislative session. Both bills aim to expand the definition of sexual offenses and increase community safety measures.

Under the guidance of Dr. Toni Watt (pictured right) and Dr. Nicole Wagner, I designed and implemented a study bridging agricultural education with social connection, connection to nature, and mental health outcomes.”

Utilizing R studio software, I conducted descriptive statistical analyses on the research data, identifying significant findings that were subsequently documented."
